Missing all the things I used to do
Before retirement age moved in.
Making sure all my brides
Had beautiful weddings
And gorgeous gowns.
That fit their bodies
And personalities.

Making sure their walk
Down the aisles
Made their dreams
Come true.
Still some of them
Returned again and again
To have me plan a new
Day of Dreams to Come True.

Sometimes I think….
Too much time and money
Is spent on the wedding day-dream
Without enough commitment
Spent on their marriage dreams.
