Never thought we’d reach 50 years.
Never thought we’d live this long.
Our parents passed young
And even though we feel young
We are in the late ages of life.

Never thought about our golden years.
Yet look here we are.
Loving each other is easy.
Can’t wait til the day is over…
Snuggling in our big bed is the best part of every day.

The kids have grown older too.
It’s hard for us to believe.
We see how old their children are
Yet our, I DO’s… just seem like yesterday.

Three kids, now six grandsons
Because you and I fell in love.
What more could we ask for as these years have been so good.

I guess an easy journey as we continue down the road.
Keeping close to each other and may nothing keep us apart.
When our time comes to an end…    May we go together and not have to Ever part…                                        Because ever leaving you…              Would just break my heart.
