If I had the chance
Would I do it all again
Go to Catholic school
Fall for the boy I love
Marry young
Move away from home
Have 3 kids
Get my MS after my BA
Own 2 businesses
Retire
And now, write poetry

Yes, I would…exactly the same
Not because there’s not a chance to
Do it again
But because my life has followed
God’s Plan
I didn’t plan or maneuver my life
In any way

I was born
Educated
Married, bore and raised
Three great kids
Lost my parents early
Took custody and finished raising
My little sister
Worked my dream job
In love with the boy who is
Still The One
Question my faith
But not my God
Or His plan for me
Enjoying retirement
And writing poetry
About life, love and God’s plan
Til the End
