Rising so much earlier
He works on his stocks
Buying or selling keeps his mind alert
I on the other hand can sleep the
Morning away
Not really rallying until almost
Midday
Mornings have never appealed to me
Much
My mind doesn’t engage early
And I never touch
Anything important early in the day
The midnight hour is my favorite time
When most are sleeping and everything is hushed
My mind thinks and rethinks without all the rush
Now that I’m older
I’m sleeping much more
Making up for the nights that sleep
Never knocked on my door
Days of rocking my babies
Or waiting up for teens
Walking the floor wondering
About all the ages in between
Have given me hours to catch up
On sleep
Leaving the worry to
Our 4 raised kids
Now it’s their time to have
Sleep seldom knock on their door As they spend their time worrying and walking the floors
