Waking to the news each day
It’s hard to say
If my mind will change
On all that I believe

Reading gives me pause to think
But so do inaccuracies widely
Repeated on the news in a blink
Without the slightest
Thought of how they appear
And how they affect what others think

Truth is what we all need
And yet many feel that truth is evil
So they spin it to fullfil the need
To express their point of view

Many don’t have the desire to
Seek the truth which is very evident
In the way they scream their views
Not understanding that truth
Needs no megaphone
As it always rises eventually

Truth is in each and everyone’s
Heart and soul
It’s the mind that
Inflicts the pain of lies
To injure the heart
Deflating ones soul
Denying mankind the
Unending future of eternity
