Sadness always weighs me down

It happens out of the blue

With words said by someone who

Doesn’t have a clue…

But again, realize, has never shared

Much with this creature

Who’s been without the loving

Heart of a mother

For over 50 years…

Instead I’ve had to build a wall

To fend off insults thrown

Only caring for one’s own…

Never seeing a reason to expand the view

To include others who could

Have used some love shown..,
