Consoles me
Now that my brother
Has followed them
To heaven…
It makes the future journey
Less scarey as I would follow
Him everywhere when I was little…
I’m not in a hurry for the adventure
From which we won’t return
But finding him
Just like our hide and seek’s
In our old 4 story home…
Where he would hide in the cellar
Behind the coal furnace
Other times in the attic
Where his bedroom and
Our playroom were…
He would let out a whistle
If my footsteps were heading
Away or hit a piano
Key to give me a hint…
I’m counting on him
Now…to lead me to Him
Where he now
Resides with them…
