Is slowly deleting

Some of our memories…

I see it daily in him

And feel it in me…

It’s upsetting to tell him

Something and two minutes

Later I have to repeat…

He said thanks for reminding me

But it’s worrisome…

The kids say this has always

Been him

But I’ve known him

So much longer

And it’s making me sad

And even more observant…
